First Local AAPA Chapter Launches in D.C.

AAPA is proud to introduce its first AAPA local chapter--the Washington Metropolitan Area Chapter (WMAC) of the AAPA. WMAC President Daniel Dycus, CPP, said organizing an AAPA chapter has already helped bring AP education, information, and networking to the D.C. area. The WMAC chapter plans to hold its first official chapter meeting by the third quarter of 2009.

Dycus said he is also helping some of his colleagues form a second AAPA-affiliated chapter in the midwest--the American Accounts Payable Association Chicago Chapter.
